This policy explains how InfractusGPS collects, stores, and uses data on your device. We prioritize local storage and user control over location data.

Information We Collect

InfractusGPS collects only the data needed to deliver location and navigation functionality. That includes GPS coordinates, route history, session timestamps, and device status necessary for tracking.

How Data is Used

Data is used to display routes, monitor progress, and support features such as session history and exports. Location data remains under your control and is not shared externally without your explicit action.

Any export or sharing function is initiated by you; the app does not transmit route history or waypoints to third parties unless you explicitly choose to share or export them.

Permissions

InfractusGPS requests permission to access device location and local storage. These permissions are required to capture GPS points and manage saved route data on the device.

You can revoke permissions through your Android settings at any time. When permissions are revoked, location tracking and exports will be disabled until they are restored.

Data Retention

All route data and waypoints remain stored locally on your device until you delete them. InfractusGPS does not use backend services to store location data by default.

Note: if you start a logging session, recording can continue while the app is closed or running in the background until you pause or stop logging, depending on your device settings.
